A hotel with a gym, spa, and restaurant each has its own hours widget on its respective screen - configured once, correct every day.

FAQ

Common questions

How do I set up business hours on my screens?

Create a Store Hours location in the dashboard, enter your Mon–Sun schedule, then add the hours widget to your screen layout in FrameDesigner. The widget automatically shows the correct day's hours every day with a live Open/Closed indicator - no one logs in to make changes.

Does it handle different timezones for multiple locations?

Yes. Each Store Hours location stores its own timezone. The TV client detects the current local time using that timezone and shows the correct Open/Closed status - so a screen in Calgary and a screen in Toronto both show their own correct hours at the right time.

Can I mark specific days or holidays as Closed?

Yes. Each day of the week has an individual Closed toggle. Flip it on and that day shows as "Closed" - no hours needed. For holidays you'd toggle the affected day closed and restore it when the holiday passes.

Can the hours widget appear alongside other content like menu boards or promotions?

Yes. The Store Hours widget is a resizable overlay layer in the FrameDesigner. You can place it in a corner of a menu board screen, or give it a full-screen layout - it sits on top of any background content you choose.

What hardware do I need?

Any screen with a modern web browser - a smart TV, Amazon Fire Stick, Raspberry Pi, or Chrome stick. No proprietary hardware required.
