How does billing work?

You pay $9 per active device per month. Add a device — the monthly amount goes up $9. Remove a device — it goes down. No tiers, no caps, no overage charges.

What counts as a "screen"?

A screen is any device registered in Atracast — a TV, digital signage display, kiosk, or tablet running the Atracast TV client. You can deregister and re-register devices freely at any time.

What hardware do I need to run Atracast?

None proprietary. Atracast runs on any device with a browser — smart TVs, Amazon Fire Sticks, Raspberry Pi, Chrome devices, or a Windows/Mac mini. If it has a browser and an internet connection, it works.

Can I use Atracast for digital menu boards?

Yes — it's one of the most common use cases. The Service Menu engine is built specifically for restaurants, cafes, fast food, gyms, salons, and retail. Mark items sold out with one tap. Set categories to appear only during lunch or dinner hours. Updates reach screens within 30 seconds.

Do all features come with every account?

Yes. Every account gets the full platform — Slide Designer, background music, service menus, scheduling, content approval, device groups, and more. There are no feature tiers.

What happens if I remove a device?

The device is deregistered and your monthly amount drops by $9. You can re-register a new device at any time.

What is the content approval workflow?

Before any schedule goes live, Atracast emails a 6-digit code to your company admins. Content only activates once an admin verifies the code — preventing accidental or unauthorized updates to your displays.

Does Atracast work offline?

Yes. The TV client caches the active playlist locally. If internet connectivity is lost, screens continue playing the last synced content. When connectivity returns, they re-sync automatically.
